Fire bullets, then cannonballs

This is a pithy expression used by Jim Collins which seems to me to be a colorful way of describing lean / agile / OODA loop (OODA Loops) thinking. Specifically in the case of OODA loops, the metaphor brings to mind the concept of a ‘reconnaisance pull’.
